WE ARE PROUD TO ANNOUNCE THAT WE NOW HAVE AN ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS BURMESE STUD - SABOKAH SANTO SPIRITO - HE IS ALL THE WAY FROM CARLA PURCELL IN WAITANGI NEW ZEALAND. Santo is the most beautiful type for a burmese, he has a great muscular body, fabulous looks, and most importantly for us, he is so smoochy and very much part of our family, he loves company and has a very relaxed temperament. It is exciting to have a brown boy with such looks, he has a stunning glossy coat and eyes to die for. We are very much looking forward to his kittens later in the year now he has settled into his purpose built cattery, with views across our acerage and company from our menagerie of animals!
We are a family based breeder of Registered Pedigree Burmese Kittens. We do this for the love of the Burmese breed and their kittens, not as any type of business. They are purely bred for their gorgeous looks and nature, and for our enjoyment before they go to their new loving homes. We do show our Burmese when we can, and aim to do what we can to interpret the breed standard and improve on our lines. It is really a bonus for us that our girls have done well in shows, fortunately in Tasmania we have a group of breeders that are co-operative, supportive and we enjoy meeting for coffee and a chat at our shows and sharing tips. I think this is rare in the cat fancy, and if it wasn't for that I don't think I would have bothered.
Burmese are fabulous family cats. They are generous with their affection and playful well into old age. They adore company, are elegant in looks, and engaging in nature. A Burmese will certainly drape itself on your favourite armchair – for five minutes, then, will be off in search of fun and games. We have three older children in our home who adore our cats, they sleep on their beds and enjoy family time, Burmese are equally good with children of all ages, with the right support and supervision childen and kitten will learn the "rules" and form very deep bonds.
